The March 2026 Visa Bulletin shows stronger forward movement than February β particularly in key employment-based categories.
Hereβs what changed:
πΉ EB-1 (India & China) β Advanced forward from prior February cutoffs.
πΉ EB-2 (Rest of World) β Now current. A significant jump.
πΉ EB-2 (India) β Substantial advancement.
πΉ EB-3 (Rest of World/Mexico/Philippines) β Continued forward movement.
πΉ EB-4 β Notable advancement compared to February.
πΉ Family-based categories β Incremental progress, but no major shifts.
USCIS is using the Dates for Filing chart, creating expanded filing opportunities for many applicants.
What this means:
If you were ineligible to file in February, March may open the door β particularly in EB-1 and EB-2 categories.
Priority date strategy matters. Timing matters even more.
If you have a pending I-140 or are evaluating next steps, now is the time to reassess eligibility.
